4901 – Fixed Asset Opening Error

Issue Summary: [4901] Error occurred when trying to open a fixed asset, related to depreciation amount calculation for assets with zero useful life.

Resolution / Workaround: To resolve the issue, the client was advised to either define a ‘No Depreciation Method’ for the affected fixed assets or perform a retirement process on them. This would prevent the depreciation amount from being calculated and allow the client to avoid any issues in the coming year.
