8253 – Uni Crop_Inquiry Regarding Journal Entry for Asset Retirement Invoice

Issue Summary: [8253] The accumulated depreciation amount is not reflected on the debit side of the Accumulated Depreciation account when recording an asset disposal using the Retirement Invoice function.

Resolution / Workaround: The issue was caused by the Pro Rata Temporis (PRT) setting for retirement under assigned depreciation type (MV-SL), which calculates depreciation only up to the end of the month preceding the retirement month. To resolve this, it is recommended to execute the retirement in April 2026 instead, ensuring that March depreciation is fully posted to accumulated depreciation before the retirement is processed.
