4047 – Change of Inventory Item Code

Issue Summary: [4047] Client requested to change existing inventory item codes, transfer stock quantities, and mark old codes as inactive.

Resolution / Workaround: The client was instructed on how to create new Item Masters with the Excel Import function, transfer in-stock quantity using Goods Issue/Goods Receipt transactions, and update Item Masters to mark old codes as Inactive Items.
