Resolution / Workaround: The support team suggested an approach to de-recognize the fixed assets by performing Asset Retirement as ‘Scrapped’ on April 30, followed by a Manual Adjustment to reclassify the balances correctly. This would fully remove the assets from the Fixed Asset records, adjust the balances to correct accounts, and correct the incorrect depreciation impact properly.
