7990 – Support on year-end closing activities

Issue Summary: [7990] Support for year-end closing activities in SAP system, including account extensions and depreciation runs.

Resolution / Workaround: The issue was resolved through a series of discussions and meetings with the customer’s consultants. Key next steps included extending company codes for asset categories, completing depreciation runs, and checking test systems for retained earnings account extensions. The customer confirmed completion of these tasks and was advised to finish balance carryforward before executing PPE (Plant Maintenance Equipment) process. It was later determined that PPE process was not required due to the system’s automatic creation of new year assets.
