Resolution / Workaround: The issue was resolved by adjusting the WBS element format to improve scalability and align with SAP standard behavior. The new structure allows for up to 999 WBS elements per project and avoids overlap with SAP’s standard numbering logic. A cut-off date was established to ensure a smooth transition from the old to the new numbering structure.
