8102 – Assistance Required: Incorrect WBS Number

Issue Summary: [8102] Incorrect WBS number ending with an alphabet instead of a number, preventing tagging to Sales Order (SO). Urgent invoice generation required.

Resolution / Workaround: The issue was caused by the user mistakenly setting the ID of the WBS Sub Task to end with an alphabet. The system allowed this due to lack of validation when creating a new WBS. To resolve, the status of the WBS elements was changed back to ‘Released’ from ‘Completed’, allowing them to be assigned to the SO.
