7979 – Issue on SAP-Preliminary Billing Document for projects from VA – SAP escalation

Issue Summary: [7979] Issue with SAP-Preliminary Billing Document for projects from VA, causing errors in follow-up documents.

Resolution / Workaround: The root cause was identified as a design limitation in SAP that intentionally prevents changes to WBS elements or item deletion in Sales Orders if there are subsequent documents. The workaround provided by SAP was to reject the existing items and create new ones after cancelling/reversing subsequent documents.
