7837 – Not able to schedule recurring posting periods

Issue Summary: [7837] Error scheduling recurring posting periods due to special periods between Dec 2025 and Jan 2026.

Resolution / Workaround: The error occurs because SAP does not allow recurring scheduling across periods that include special periods. As a workaround, the posting periods for Jan-Feb 2026 can be scheduled using ‘Schedule to Run Once’. Once the system reaches February, recurring scheduling will then be possible.
