8280 – Trial Balance & General Ledger Data Checking

Issue Summary: [8280] Inconsistent amounts between Trial Balance report and General Ledger report for Asset and Expense accounts.

Resolution / Workaround: To ensure consistency, select ‘OB from Start of Company Activity’ in Opening Balance for Period and tick ‘CB before Selected Period Only’ in Add Closing Balances settings in the Trial Balance report. Additionally, select ‘OB from Start of Company Activity’ in the General Ledger report.
