6321 – Request for Urgent Assistance with JV Entry Issue

Issue Summary: [6321] Finance users were unable to enter a journal voucher (JV) due to the ‘Ref. 1’ column being set as mandatory.

Resolution / Workaround: The root cause was identified as the ‘Ref. 1’ column being set as mandatory by right-clicking on it and selecting ‘Make This Column Mandatory.’ The issue was resolved by removing the ‘Ref. 1 mandatory’ setting through the ‘Edit Mandatory Fields Configuration,’ allowing Finance users to add JVs without including the Reference field.
