8389 – Issue with the intangible asset amortisation in SAP for Zawgyi Supply Chain Limited.

Issue Summary: [8389] Intangible asset amortisation error in SAP for Zawgyi Supply Chain Limited, causing accumulated amortisation to exceed the intangible asset cost.

Resolution / Workaround: The root cause of the issue was identified as a recalculation of depreciation due to a Credit Memo transaction posted on 31/03/2019. The depreciation amount was recalculated based on the updated Net Book Value (NBV), resulting in an increased depreciation amount from April 2019 onwards. A manual Journal Entry was created by the customer to adjust for the difference, which resolved the issue.
