8124 – New Posting Period and Numbering Series Creation for 2026-2027

Issue Summary: [8124] The customer requested creation of a new posting period and numbering series for the year 2026-2027, as well as completion of the financial year-end closing procedure for the year 2025-2026.

Resolution / Workaround: A support ticket was created (8124) and a consultant was assigned to assist. The process for creating the new posting period and numbering series was carried out during a scheduled maintenance window from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM, with all users requested to stop using the system during this time. After completion, the customer was notified that the posting period and numbering series for 2026-2027 had been successfully created.
