7325 – Profit Period Difference between BS and P&L
Issue Summary: [7325] The profit period difference between the Balance Sheet (BS) and Profit & Loss (P&L) reports was caused by backdated transactions posted after the period-end closing process.
Resolution / Workaround: To correct the deviation, the Period-End Closing process for 2022 and 2023 was re-run to lock all closed posting periods and prevent backdated transactions. The client was also instructed on how to track and review backdated transactions.
