6729 – Uni Crop_Creating Posting Period Error for 2025-2026 Financial Year
Issue Summary: [6729] Error creating new posting period for 2025-2026 financial year due to ‘Series already in use, ‘Primary” error message.
Resolution / Workaround: The issue was caused by the ‘2025’ period indicator being linked to the posting periods of the previous year (2023). A workaround was applied from SAP community to lock the affected numbering series first and then add new numbering series. However, further analysis is required for this case, and the investigation continues.
