6590 – Useful Life DTW & Remaining Life error

Issue Summary: [6590] The customer reported an error with the Useful Life DTW and Remaining Life in Fixed Asset Master Data, where the useful life was incorrectly set to 60 months instead of 46 months. Additionally, some assets had incorrect remaining life values.

Resolution / Workaround: The support team provided a template for updating the useful life using Data Transfer Workbench (DTW) and guided the customer through the steps. The Remaining Life field was explained as being calculated based on the asset’s useful life and depreciation start date, and it always reflects the remaining life at the start of the selected fiscal year.
